Ingredients

50 ml butter

50 ml flour

350 ml milk

1 pinch pepper

500 ml shell pasta

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tbsp cream cheese

1/2 cup cubed black forest ham

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Once boiling add pasta and cook uncovered for 12-15 minutes. Once finished drain and set aside.

While pasta is cooking melt butter in a medium sauce pan.

Whisk in flour and pepper to melted butter. Cook for approx. 20 seconds.

Gradually add milk to butter and flour mixture whisking briskly. Bring to a boil until slightly thickened and remove from heat.

Add cheddar cheese, cream cheese, ham and cooked pasta to milk mixture and stir until combined.
